Chanel and Dior Couture Spring 2011

Is it just me?  Or is this Couture Fashion Week, completely jaw dropping!!  The Fashion Gods have rained upon the Spring 2011 collections!  Models are gracing the runways in some of the most exquisite pieces... feminine and pretty, pastels, embellishments, bows, beading, ruffles and intriquite detailing.  And where to begin.. perhaps with a little Chanel and Dior?  This Chanel collection is one of my favourites.  Mr Lagerfeld, always manages to astonish audiences, but this time, he has sent me into a complete fashion frenzy!  The collection is pretty and delicate, the models surprisingly wore flats and I love his use of pastels.  Lagerfeld wanted the collection to be pretty and natural he "was sick of all those Eiffel Towers, sick of all those violent colours."

When it comes to a Dior Couture collection.. expect the unexpected!  The master himself Mr Galliano created a gorgeous and elegant collection inspired by Dior's  'New Look' 1947 collection.  The collection originally symbolised a new era in feminiety with extravagant full skirts, gloves and small waistlines.

Clemence Poesy for Marie Claire US

Whilst I wasn't a huge fan of Clemence Poesy on Gossip Girl (maybe because I'm such a Chuck and Blair fan), I am absolutely in love with Clemence's current editorial shoot for Marie Claire US February 2011.  A simple, elegant and classic beauty complimented with a little Chanel, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs!

Golden Globes 2011

This year's Golden Globe Red Carpet was quite interesting, a little Christmas like.. red and green gowns.  Except my favourite gowns were those which were pastel, with a little sparkle!  A few of my favourites this year included, Olivia Wilde in Marchesa, Leighton Meester in Burberry and Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive.

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
Anne Hathaway in Armani
Leighton Meester in Burberry
Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta
Kaley Cuoco in Catherine Kidd
Dianna Agron in J Mendel
Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham
Carrie Underwood in Badgley and Mischka
Emma Stone in Calvin Klein
Scarlett Johansson in Elie Saab
Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs
     Claire Danes in Calvin Klein

The Rachel Zoe Collection

It is finally here.. The Rachel Zoe Collection!  Seven months pregnant and she is still going! The Rachel Zoe Collection was previewed just days ago to the press and retailers.  Rachel took some time aside to style a shoot for her new collection featured in WWD.   I love this collection!  I love the mixture of classic tailored pieces, the trendsetting pieces and of course Rachel's 1970's vibe!  An evident balance between femininity, glamour, versatility and wearability.  Rachel hopes that her collection will be sold alongside Diane von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs.  And what else can we expect from the one and only Rachel Zoe?  She is set to give birth to a little boy in March in which she can't wait to style in 'Burberry, Dior and Gucci.'  And she is now filming a new season of The Rachel Zoe Project!   She never ceases to amaze me!
