Marchesa's Fall 2012 collection was inspired by William-Adolphe Bouguereau's 19th Century painting A Soul Brought to Heaven. Tulle gowns, shimmers of gold, and stunning embroidered pieces swept the ground as models graced a path of a somewhat heavenly nature. Each piece more glamorous than the next. Whilst the majority of the pieces represented a more angelic side symbolised through wings and feathers, other pieces represented a somewhat darker place and a level of mortality... the skeleton and muscles were incorporated in pieces throughout the collection. However, leave it to the girls from Marchesa to see the beauty in all.
