The year that was 2013!

It's that time of the year again, my final post for the year.  As we head into 2014, let's take a look back at the year that was 2013.
Australian Fashion Week moved venue and set up location at the Carriageworks Sydney.  Virgin Australia were announced as the official sponsors for Melbourne Fashion Festival and H&M announced their first store opening in Australia for early 2014.  Ellery, Dion Lee, Zimmermann and Sass and Bide all showcased their collections at New York and Paris Fashion Week whilst, designers including Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Collette Dinnigan, Ksubi and Kit Willow ceased business.  It was the year every celebrity decided to visit Australia, including Poppy Delevingne and Olivia Palermo, whom I was so fortunate to meet!
Marc Jacobs showcased his final collection as designer of Louis Vuitton during Paris Fashion Week and Isabel Marant sent fashion fanatics into a frenzy with her H&M collaboration.  Harry Styles won the British Style Award at the British Fashion Awards, making him fashion's new 'IT' boy.  Jennifer Lawrence was this year's Vogue September issue cover girl and Taylor Swift shined every so bright on the Victoria's Secret runway.
We welcomed little baby North West (Kim and Kayne), Kaius Jagger (Rachel Zoe and Rodger), Everly (Channing and Jenna Tatum), Axl Jack (Fergie and Josh Duhamel) to the world.  Most importantly, we welcomed little Prince George to the world,  who created a media storm.  This year's celebrity break ups outweighed celebrity weddings.
Ever Gossip Girl and The OC fan's dreams came true when Adam Brody and Leighton Meester announced their engagement.  One Direction became even bigger and decided to dedicated a day to their fans.. 1D Day, a whole 7 hours straight of One Direction Live on YouTube globally.  After five season's, 90210 came to an end, The Vampire Diaries celebrated their 100th episode, while The Carrie Diaries (Sex and the City spin off) aired. Made in Chelsea won a BAFTA, Lauren Conrad announced her engagement to William Tell and Justin Bieber brought a little light to Mondays thanks to #MusicMondays.
What a year it has been, I can't wait till 2014!
