Taylor Swift!

As a Taylor Swift fan it only seemed right that I devote a post to her for her 21st Birthday.  Taylor's lucky number thirteen, which is plastered on her wrist every chance she gets, is symbolic of her birthday on the 13th December.  Once a little country star, Taylor Swift is now dominating the world, literally!  According to Forbes, in the past 12months Taylor has earned over $45 million.  Taylor has recently been named 'Entertainer of the Year' by Entertainment Weekly, 'Artist of the Year' at the CMT where Maroon 5 even covered one of her songs and not forgetting she won awards at the CMA and AMA in 2010.   Her latest album 'Speak Now' sold over 1 million copies in the first week in the US alone.  I loved her first self titled album, along with her second album 'Fearless', but 'Speak Now' is on a whole other level!  A few of my particular favourites include 'Dear John' written for John Mayer, 'Innocent' written for Kayne West, 'Mine', 'Haunted', 'Story of Us' and of course 'Back to December' written for Taylor Lautner.  'Back to December' is Taylor's first apology song written in regret.  Taylor performed 'Back to December' at both the CMA's and AMA's, and whilst I loved her gown at the CMA's her performance at the AMA's was beyond major!  She had a whole new image and she incorporated Lautner's 'response' in her performance.  And as for fashion.. Taylor not only attended Fashion Week, but recently she has covered Glamour, Seventeen, and Allure magazine.   I absolutely love her Allure cover and spread, she looks amazing!

"Guys are like purses"

We all have World Cup fever and the fashion world is embracing it left, right and centre!  Just as the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo takes to the field, his latest Armani campaign is revealed.  The Fall/Winter 2010/2011 campaign includes Cristiano in Armani Jeans and of course in his signature Armani underwear.  The campaign will be released globally and feature in magazines in July as well as billboards in London, New York, Paris and Rome, just to name a few.  Whilst his skills in the modelling world are taking him above and beyond, let's hope he has enough skills on the field to lead Portugal to further victory!  Here is a little preview of the campaign..
As well as Armani, Dolce and Gabbana released their ad campaign for Autumn/Winter 2010/2011.  It's vintage meets Dolce and Gabbana and well some of the most amazing models!  I love how the campaign shows the process of tailoring and fitting the male models.
Taylor, Taylor, Taylor... Taylor Lautner that is!  In light of the release of the third instalment from the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, Taylor Lautner is featured in the July 2010 US issue of GQ magazine.  All I have to say is 'wow'!  Taylor on motorbike, Taylor in the air, Taylor in a suit, t-shirt and well topless.  Do you really need anything else from a photo shoot?  I think not!
