Farfetch x Aquazzura Collection

I'm starting off the year with a collaboration from Farfetch and Aquazzura.  Aquazzura has become a favourite of mine.  With unique, fashion forward, elegant, super comfy and narrow designs, there's no doubt, I'm left wanting more.  Designer Edgardo Osorio, has collaborated with four fashion influencers to create a unique and exclusive Resort collection for Farfetch.  The four piece collection consists of the 'Very Pascaline' inspired by Pascaline Smets of SMETS, the 'Very Claire' inspired by Claire Distenfeld of Fivestory, the 'Very Holi' inspired by Holli Rogers, CEO of Browns Fashion, and the 'Very Deena' inspired by Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz, Editor in Chief of Vogue Arabia.

Very Claire/Very Holi/Very Deena/Very Pascaline

As I'm obsessed with a metallic, statement heel, I was instantly drawn to the 'Very Claire' and the never ending styling possibilities.  According to Claire, the 'Very Claire' is "A sexy sole, a delicate platform and just the right amount of pizzazz!"  It's a vibrant, statement heel that would make the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.  I've styled the 'Very Claire' in three different ways.  All pieces are available from www.farfetch.com

For my first look, I wanted to create an ultra feminine outfit that you could wear at night or to a special event.  I've paired the 'Very Claire' with a delicate Valentino skirt.  This is then juxtaposed with a structured Toni Maticevski top.  I've added a metallic Charlotte Olympia clutch and pair of Miu Miu sunglasses. I've finished the look with a Chloe bracelet, Kenzo earrings and a metallic By Terry eye shade.

For my second look, I wanted something more casual, but still a little over the top!  I've paired the 'Very Claire' with a few classic pieces.  A pair of MacGraw flared jeans, a Gucci tee and a Toni Maticevski coat.  I've added a pair of Celine signatory sunglasses and a statement bracelet from Chloe.  I've finished the look with a little lilac, a Valentino bag.

For my final look, I wanted a versatile outfit that could take you from day to night.  I've paired the 'Very Claire' with this amazing Balmain lilac top and a ruffled Lanvin leather skirt.  I've added a classic Lanvin bag and a pair of Celine sunglasses. Then, finished the look, with a Chloe necklace and an Isabel Marant ring.

Farfetch x Style Profile

One reason I started blogging, was to share my love for fashion and style.  I would frequently be asked where I purchased my clothes, upcoming trends and my style secrets.  It's been six years since I first started my blog, and while trends have come and gone, one thing has always remained the same... my style and aesthetic.  This post is inspired by Farfetch's Blogger Content Pack which I recently received.  The pack is a combination of Fashion Edits, Trends, Blogger Style and an insight into Farfetch's affiliate boutiques.
MY STYLE
I would describe my style to be minimalist, refined, yet feminine. I'm all about the basics and adding trend pieces.  I stick to white, black, navy and grey.  I also incorporate pastel and metallic for a little fashion twist.  I'm big on stripes and love a legging.  I think it's important to invest in and build your wardrobe, to take you from season to season.  There's are a few of my wardrobe essentials.

STYLE INSPIRATION
I draw the majority of my style inspiration from celebrities.  I would say Olivia Palermo is my Style Icon.  She has the ability to make any piece look amazing!  I'm also a fan of Rachel Zoe, her love for fashion and style is infectious.  I'm addicted to Gigi Hadid's style.  I love her fresh and innovative take on style and trends.  As a child and teen, I grew up drawing style inspiration from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.  Till this day, I'm still inspired by their style.  I also draw inspiration from the runway, street style, magazines, online fashion sites and other bloggers.
BLOGGING AND MY STYLE
Blogging has definitely impacted my style and the way I dress.  People look to you for inspiration.  It's essential to be ahead of the trends, know what designers are stocking from season to season, and be aware of new products.  I've really refined and defined my style since blogging, and I love sharing my style and favourite pieces with my readers.

FAVOURITE TRENDS THIS SEASON
The slip dress is my favourite trend this season.  You can really make it your own. Dress it up or down, with a bootie or sneaker.  Add a little tee underneath with a bomber jacket or trench coat during cooler months.  Finish with a pair of sunglasses and a tote or clutch, and you're ready to go.  I also love the off the shoulder trend, leather leggings trend and long trench coat trend.  Take these trend pieces, mix them with your core wardrobe pieces and make them your own!

The Pyjama/Boudoir Edit x Farfetch.com

The Pyjama/Boudior trend is a huge trend for Spring/Summer 2016.  The trend has graced the runways of Dolce and Gabbana, Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Celine and Alexander Wang.  Celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, Whitney Port, Karlie Kloss and Rihanna, have embraced the trend creating their own little spin.  When it comes to styling the Pyjama/Boudior trend, you can either embrace the complete look, or can incorporate pieces with your everyday wardrobe.  Like Selena and Whitney, you can embrace the complete trend and wear your pieces from day to night, and of course, bed.  Alternatively, you can opt for a more subtle approach like Gigi and Kendall.  Kendall has added a basic tee with her slip dress, while Gigi has added a bomber jacket (another staple this season) with her slip dress.
I've picked out a few of my favourite Pyjama/Boujoir trend pieces.  I've also included a few beauty picks to complement your look.  All pieces are available via FARFETCH.COM.
