Gossip Girl in Paris!

If you blinked, you would have missed it! One of the biggest style icons Ed Westwick or as we all know and love 'Chuck Bass' spent three days on Australia's shore.  I know.. I would have loved to have met him too!  As he left Australia's shore, he headed to Paris, for of course the filming of Gossip Girl Season 4, finally!  Yes my fellow Upper East Side lovers, Gossip Girl is back and more fashionable than ever before.  I think if Ed is filming it's safe to assume that Chuck is alive!  And where did Gossip Girl Season 3 leave off?......Well Chuck gave Blair an ultimatum and we re-lived the famous scene from 'An Affair to Remember' in this case Derota gave birth and so Blair was too late meeting Chuck at the Empire State Building.  Upset, he turned to and slept with little Jenny, which in fact was her first time.  Then Blair finally made it to Chuck and reconciled.  However, Dan, angry at Chuck belted him, just as he was about to propose to Blair.  Consequently it all came out.  Blair and Serena left for Paris, Georgina rocked up carrying Dan's baby, Nate was upset with Serena and rebelled, Jenny was sent to live with her mum, and Chuck got mugged, the ring got stolen and he got shot!!  And so where does that leave Season 4 of the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite?  Spotted... B and S canoodling with two mystery men.  Could this be a new chance at love?
Here is a sneak peek!
Blair in Moschino and Serena in Georges Chakra Couture

This little purple dress is exquisite!
A signature and of course stunning Blair outfit and well a glimpse at her new mystery man!
Love this outfit!  Serena's wardrobe has definitely altered, her new Paris ensembles are taking Gossip Girl to a whole new level!
Completely amazing.. Serena in Tibi blue crop pants and an amazing Emilio Pucci blazor, complimented with Brian Atwood pumps!
  Serena's new man?

Serena's Pierre Hardy Metallic shoes are amazing!
And so where is Chuck Bass?  Apparently he is in also in Paris with a mystery girl..  Will he run into Blair?  Oh and yeah he currently has a walking stick and a limp..

You know you love me.. xoxo Gossip Girl

Couture Fall 2010 - Dior

Are you ready to enter Christian Dior's magical secret garden?  The Dior collection stunned audiences with its vibrant, colourful, exquisite collection, opening Couture Fall 2010!  Designer John Galliano, drew inspiration from all things floral.  He studied and interpreted the colour, light and movement of flowers and created a masterpiece!  Audiences were taken on a magical adventure through Dior's secret garden and were left completely breath taken.

Resort 2011 Collections

The Chanel and DVF Resort 2011 collections weren't the only collections that left a lasting impression!   Oscar de la Renta graced us all with his feminine, sophisticated and classic collection.  Love his use of delicate prints, flowy dresses, elegant silhouettes, the pretty bows, stunning gowns, and well who could resist those hats!
Another collection that intrigued me was the Moschino Cheap and Chic collection.  It channels the Upper East Side, with the whole Gossip Girl vibe.  Cute little dresses, adorable skirts, loads of jewellery and bows.
All eyes were on the highly anticipated Alexander McQueen collection.  Sarah Burton has effectively carried on McQueen's legacy.  In this collection Burton was inspired by her favourite McQueen moments.  She interpreted McQueen's signature 'drama' pieces and created a wearable and straight foward collection, of course not neglecting McQueen's edge and design codes.
I adore the new season Resort 2011 collections however, it would be too much to post them all!  So I've decided to pick a few of my favourite pieces.

To the Runway! - Chanel and DVF Resort 2011

Thought it was time to head back to the runway with the recent Resort 2011 collections!  Starting off of course with the one and only Chanel collection.  Mr Lagerfeld has done it again!  I am never disappointed with a Chanel collection.  The collection has the evident signature Chanel touch, however, I love the collection's versatility and 1970's feel.  The collection includes the use of boucle tweed jackets, flowy caftans, stunning maxi dresses, adorable mini dresses and skirts, high waisted flares and shorts, dashes of vibrant colour, denim and pretty swimwear.  The collaboration of colours including, pastels, nudes, earthy tones and of course black and white is exquisite!  Here are a few of my favourites.
The Diane Von Furstenberg's 'La Petite Valise' collection, definitely left a lasting impression!  Models walking through giant keyholes as they stepped onto the catwalk.  I love the feminine 1940's beach vibe with a combination of cute dresses, high waisted shorts and adorable swimwear.  Her use of prints is amazing and love the simple, yet elegant colour palete.
